On the last day of the June sesshin, the 16th, we spent the entire morning working on calligraphy. Mr. Cameron, who contributed to the previous issue of Tesshu magazine, participated in the entire sesshin and finished it off by practicing calligraphy under the direct guidance of Master Genryo. He felt that as he wrote one sheet after another on the half-sheet, his characters became tighter and tighter.
