Announcement of "Zen Tea Ceremony
There are probably many people who would like to enjoy powdered green tea at a tea ceremony but are hesitant because they do not know the etiquette. If you do not need to practice the tea ceremony, but would like to know the etiquette of being a guest and how to receive tea, we will explain the simple etiquette in the tatami room at Kohoin.
Afterwards, you will see the actual Urasenke tea ceremony, and enjoy the main sweets and Usu-cha (thin tea). You will also experience a short zazen (about 15 minutes).
If you are interested, please join us. We plan to meet on the second Sunday of each month.
