The Sunday Zen Talk Session for September will be held on the 27th.

The September Sunday Zen Talk will be held on Sunday, September 27.

Why not refresh yourself at the start of the week—on a Sunday morning—with a short zazen session and a Dharma talk by the head priest? At Kōho-in Temple, located in Nakano Ward near Shinjuku, there will be a 15-minute zazen session followed by a roughly 30-minute Dharma talk by the head priest in the temple’s formal sitting room. During the tea gathering afterward, the head priest will answer any questions you may have about Zen.

Please arrive by 7:30 am. No prior registration is required.

In addition, we hold a Zen calligraphy session after the Zen talk session (9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.). If you are interested in participating, please attend the zazen session first.

Date and Time: September 27, 2026, 7:30 a.m.–9:10 a.m.
