Zazen meeting schedule for March

Zazen meeting on Saturday, July 26 will be cancelled.

The June Friday evening and Saturday zazen meetings will be held on the following dates. Sunday Zazen Talk will be held on Sunday the 28th. Please feel free to join us. We look forward to seeing you there.
Friday evening zazen meetings: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

Saturday Zazen meeting : 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

Due to the February holiday season, the Friday evening zazen meeting and Saturday zazen meeting will be cancelled, but the Sunday zen talk meeting will be held on Sunday, February 22nd.

The March Sunday Zen talk meeting is scheduled for the 29th.

The June sesshin was held from June 18 to 22, 2025. Six students practiced under the guidance of Master Genryo.

The next Sunday Zen Talk will be held on October 26. The program includes 15 minutes of zazen followed by a 30-minute Dharma talk by the abbot, followed by a tea party.

Tesshuu Reissue No. 76 is now available.

Every third Saturday of the month, we hold sesshin, an overnight intensive zazen practice from Wednesday evening to Sunday noon.
The December sesshin was held from Wednesday, December 17 through Sunday, December 21. From Wednesday to Thursday, after early morning zazen, participants returned to their normal daily routines, including leaving the dojo to go to work, and then returned to the dojo in the evening for zazen and overnight stay, spending time intensively facing their own selves.

The next Sunday Zen Talk will be held on November 30. The program includes 15 minutes of zazen followed by a 30-minute Dharma talk by the abbot, followed by a tea party.

There will be no zazen session on Saturday, March 22. We need to do some work at the dojo, so only samu will be available in the morning.

Sunday, December 28th will be cancelled due to the end of the year. The next Zen talk will be held on Sunday, January 25.

The New Year (2025) zazen meetings will begin with a Friday evening zazen session on January 3 and a Saturday zazen session on January 4. We look forward to your participation.
